STUFF DA BUS BACK-TO-SCHOOL DRIVE: JOIN RAISING CANE’S IN PEARL CITY TO SUPPORT EDUCATION! EXCITING SPONSORS ON BOARD!

Hawaii School Kids

Gear up, folks, because there’s an incredible event happening in Pearl City that you won’t want to miss! Raising Cane’s, the beloved chicken finger joint, is stepping up its game to give back to the community with a Stuff Da Bus Back-to-School Supply Drive & Celebration. Mark your calendars for Sunday, July 16th, 2023, between noon and 2 PM, and get ready for a fun-filled afternoon for a fantastic cause.

The event aims to support the Aloha United Way Society of Young Leaders, all while ensuring that no keiki (children) in the Pearl City area face the challenges of starting a new school year without the necessary supplies. And they have a grand vision in mind! Raising Cane’s plans to fill a brand-new massive 40-foot electric school bus, generously provided by Roberts Hawaii, with all the essential items that young students need to succeed.

So, what can you do to be a part of this incredible effort? Well, it’s as easy as stopping by Raising Cane’s during the event and mentioning the fundraiser at the register. For every purchase made, Raising Cane’s will donate a whopping 15% of the sales towards filling up that electric school bus with supplies. How cool is that? You get to enjoy some mouthwatering chicken fingers while making a difference in the lives of children who need it most.

school suppliesYou can also stop by and bring school supplies. Speaking of supplies, let’s dive into what they’re looking for. For elementary school students, they need items like colored pencils, Elmer’s Glue, backpacks, pens, black dry-erase markers, highlighters, post-it notes, and pencil boxes. If you’re shopping for middle and high school students, bring along some extra #2 pencils, pens, college-ruled composition books, spiral notebooks, college-ruled paper, erasers, folders, 3-ring binders, backpacks, and highlighters. Anything you can contribute will make a big difference in a young student’s life.

Now, let’s talk about the monetary suggestions. If you prefer to provide financial support, Raising Cane’s has you covered. Here are some options to consider: $5 will cover a pencil box plus writing and drawing supplies for one keiki; $10 will provide school supplies for one keiki; $30 will ensure a backpack filled with school supplies for one keiki; and if you’re feeling extra generous, $100 will sponsor an entire class with essential school supplies for 20 keiki. Remember, every dollar counts, and no donation is too small when it comes to helping these students succeed.

But wait, there’s more! Raising Cane’s is not alone in this endeavor. They have some fantastic sponsors on board, including 102.7 Da Bomb, HI92 FM, Break’n Anger, Da Hawaii Cupcake Factory, and of course, Roberts Hawaii, who are just as passionate about giving back to the community. Their support adds an extra layer of excitement to this already fantastic event.

So, grab your family and friends, spread the word, and head on down to Raising Cane’s at 1240 Kuala St. in Pearl City on Sunday, July 16th, between noon and 2 PM. Together, let’s stuff that electric school bus with supplies and help set our young students up for success in the upcoming school year.

Remember, it’s not just about the delicious chicken fingers at Raising Cane’s; it’s about the power of community coming together to make a lasting impact. Let’s show our support for the Stuff Da Bus Back-to-School Supply Drive & Celebration and make a difference, one backpack at a time!
