Roberts Hawaii tops off your adventure with an included light snack during your mountaintop visit and a stop at a local favorite for a delicious breakfast on the trip down.

Note: We have received notification of a wide load transport affecting commercial vehicle activity in the Haleakala National Park on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. This tour will not be available on that day.

Tour Overview (*denotes stops made)

  • Kula & Upcountry Maui – This magnificent district means “open meadows” in the Hawaiian language. From rich green pastures to farms of lavender, protea and flowers for leis, Hawaii’s farming tradition continues on these fertile lands.
  • Haleakala Crater & National Park* – Known as the “House of the Sun,” this dormant volcano towers at over 10,000 feet and has a contrast of harsh volcanic landscape which is the home of many unique endangered species including the beautiful and endemic Silversword plant along with sweeping views of the island.
  • Included Mountaintop Breakfast – Enjoy a hot cup of Maui Grown Coffee, hot tea, cocoa, delicious pastries & healthy fruit at the tallest point on the island with a stunning view of the sunrise.
  • Upcountry Island Breakfast* – Enjoy an included breakfast full of wonderful selections from a local favorite, Casanova’s!
  • Maui’s “Paniolo Country” of Makawao – Learn the magnificent history of Maui’s cowboy roots in this charming, rustic upcountry town.
  • Hali’imaile – Enjoy a drive through the heart of Maui’s agricultural hub for pineapples, sugar cane and other tropical crops.
  • Important Information
    • Wear comfortable walking shoes.
    • Wearing long pants, a heavy sweater or jacket is highly recommended as the weather is extremely cold in the morning at Haleakala’s crater.
    • Reservation Cutoff Time: 4:00 pm day prior to tour.

    • Fall, Oct 1-Dec 15: Pickups 2.10AM-3.30AM | Returns 10.00AM- 11.15AM
    • Winter, Dec 16- Mar 31: Pickups 2.40AM-4.00AM | Returns 10.30AM-11.45AM
    • Summer, Apr 1- Sep 30: Pickups 1.40AM | Returns 9.30AM-10.45AM
    • Tour Operates Mondays through Wednesdays.
    • Locations/routes may be modified due to National Park and State Park advisories.
  • Haleakala Sunrise Breakfast Menu
  • All breakfast plates served with Coffee, Tea, Orange Juice & a choice of one of the following:

    • Breakfast Sandwich Scrambled eggs with bacon and cheese on a freshly baked croissant.
    • French Toast Served with real maple syrup and fresh fruit. (VEGETARIAN)
    • Lox & Bagel Served with cream cheese and salmon, capers, and fresh fruit.
    • European Breakfast with freshly baked croissant, fresh pastries, fresh fruit, jam and butter.
    • Frittata Baked eggs with zucchini, onions and sundried tomatoes. Focaccia bread. (GLUTEN FREE- substitute mixed greens for Focaccia Bread.)
  • Cancellation Terms
  • Cancellations must be made by 12 noon, the day prior of scheduled service and will result in a 10% service charge. No refunds provided for cancellations occurring after 12 noon, the day prior of scheduled service. No-shows will not be refunded.

  • ADA Requests
    • If you require any special accommodations due to disability, please include them under the comment section at the time of booking.
    • If you require a wheelchair accessible vehicle, the type of wheelchair must be included in the comments section when booking online or by directly calling Roberts Hawaii. Due to limited availability, we require that ADA vehicle reservations be made a minimum of 48 hours prior to date and time of service.
    • We will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate the needs of disabled travelers.
