Authentic Hawaiian Luau in Honolulu – Chief's Luau

Awesome experience! The Chief was funny. The food was great. Newly weds and those celebrating anniversaries were honored with song and the couples then danced. Beautiful memories. The cultural aspects of the show was enlightening. The show and dinner was appproximately 3 hours.

The complete package and more then what I was expecting. The show and interaction was spot on.it was family oriented and they made you feel like family. The fire show was amazing and the way they put on the show walking you through the way a luau was created was perfect. I can not say enough about these amazing folks

If you have Special Needs Family Members, this is the place for you. Our child has sensory issues and is not keen to loud noises, cheering, clapping and so on. A member of the Luau Family made the observation, asked my wife and I if she could move us out of the general crowd. She and a few others took a table, chairs and got a table cloth for us in a balcony overlooking the event. It put us out of the direct line of sound from the speakers. It put us in a better vantage point, more enjoyable for our son and we were NOT forgotten during the event. This made a usually tense and short lived outing so enjoyable for the three of us. Please, if you have Special Needs Family or Friends, talk to this Luau Family and you will not be disappointed.

What a great show for all ages. We were collected from Waikiki in a bus with a host. Very welcoming and informative. Pus was a credit to the company. From the moment we arrived we had smiles on our face. We were greeted with a lei. The food was great and activities awesome. The host, Chief had a great sense of humour. If there is only one thing you can do in Waikiki, then this is it.

This was my second time attending the Chief’s Luau this year. Both experiences were great! The food is good and plentiful, the live musicians and Polynesian dancers were excellent, and the fire dancing finale was breathtaking! To be honest, the fact that it is located at the Wet and Wild water park initially lowered my expectations before my first visit, but I was very pleasantly surprised!

Chief’s Luau was a fantastic authentic experience. Our greeting was very welcoming. We loved the 3 cultural activities prior to the start of the show. The variety of Hawaiian food tasted amazing. Our favorite was the Kahlúa pork. We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and were recognized on stage. The chief sang a beautiful wedding song to all of the ones celebrating anniversaries.

Our family of 7 from 7 years old to 70 years old, thoroughly enjoyed Chief's Luau. The Hawaiian food and drinks were delicious and a nice variety for all palates. Learning about the different Island cultures was very enlightening. All of the family enjoyed!

The entire experience was great. The staff were very friendly and engaging. And went out of their way to engage the kiddos

This is the perfect luau for families who want the show! The food is to be expected and nothing crazy but was certainly tasty and filling. However the real wow factor was the show. We raved about the show hours after we left. Highly recommend

We've done the luau thing before, but Chief's was different. It was smaller and more intimate. Most seats were close to the show. They started out with Hawaiian craft making which was very kid and family friendly. Everyone received a coconut leaf crown and one of my grandson's got to make a basket. and start a file by hand. The food and drinks were terrific. The show explored Polynesian culture and traditions but did it in a fun way. Everyone in our family from grandparents to grandkids loved it. And the MC and the Chief are really funny. Not a boring minute in the evening.
