2014 Champions

Driving with Aloha is the best way to drive … and the only way we do. For the third consecutive year, our Roberts Hawaii drivers drove away with the championship in Hawaii Transportation Association’s (HTA) statewide competition for passenger vehicle drivers.

Six Roberts Hawaii tour and school bus drivers hailing from Kauai, Oahu and Big Island collectively swept every competition category, Rookie of the Year award, and the Grand Champion title in the 2014 HTA Passenger Carrier Driving Championships.

Held on June 14 at Leeward Community College, the annual competition challenges drivers from around the state. All competitors had to participate in a written exam, vehicle pre-trip inspection test, and driving course. To qualify for the competition, they had to have been continuously employed as a licensed commercial driver, worked at least 1200 hours, for their present employer over the past year, and not have had any recent preventable accidents.

Our Winning Drivers:

Some of the winners, pictured here, may be familiar faces. We brought in our best drivers from over the state to compete. Please join us in congratulating the following drivers on their victory!
