Return to Paradise – A Special Show Scheduled for June 5-16, 2012
Four of Hawaii’s finest entertainers will be the featured stars of a special engagement of Roberts Hawaii’s “Return to Paradise starring Lani Misalucha” show, June 5 through June 16, 2012. Rocky Brown, Starr Kalahiki, Jordan Segundo and Little Albert will lend their award-winning voices and impressive credits to Waikiki’s newest and hottest Hawaii-inspired musical production.
By popular demand, the “Return to Paradise starring Lani Misalucha” show had been extended by producer Roberts Hawaii through the end of the year. Prior to the show’s extension, Misalucha had made a previous commitment on the Mainland, and thus the impressive foursome of Brown, Kalahiki, Segundo and Little Albert will be sharing their unique musical styles and vocal talents to the high-energy, nostalgic and romantic show.
Rocky Brown has had a successful career as a Professional Singer and Actress in The Philippines, New York and Hawaii. In 1991, Brown was selected to be a Cast Member of the original Broadway Production of “Miss Saigon”. Since then, she has released several recordings and has performed with The Honolulu Symphony and The Pacific Rim Jazz Festival.
Starr Kalahiki sang with The Hawaii Opera Theatre Chorus for six seasons and was a Cast member of the show “Ulalena” for three years. In 2011, Kalahiki released her debut CD “Salt” and is the 2012 recipient of two Na Hoku Hanohano Awards in the categories of “Most Promising Artist” and “Jazz Album of The Year”.
Jordan Segundo achieved national recognition as Hawaii’s First “American Idol” Contestant (Season Two). Since then, Segundo has performed with Jim Brickman in concerts, with The Honolulu Symphony, in The Pro Bowl and performs in concerts across the nation. In addition, he does on-camera television hosting, commentary about “American Idol” on KHON 2 and is the FOX VIP.
Little Albert has performed all over the world with some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry: Sammy Davis, Jr., Carol Channing, Patti Labelle and more. He has appeared on popular television shows like The Ed Sullivan Show and was a member of the famous musical group “The Society of Seven”. Little Albert is an accomplished musician and a master of numerous impressions.
