Help Flatten the Curve |
Passenger and employee safety is our top priority. On March 18, 2020, we temporarily suspended all tours as a preemptive measure to curtail the spread of COVID-19 into the community.
Please be advised, at this timeGovernor David Ige has implemented a 10-day self-quarantine for everyone arriving to Hawaii. However, effective October 15, Governor Ige has approved the Hawaii pre-travel testing program providing travelers with an alternative to the 10-day mandatory quarantine. Click Here for more information on the State of Hawaii’s Safe Travels Program.
- Hawaii’s pre-travel testing program will launch on October 15, and it provides travelers with an alternative to the 10-day mandatory quarantine
- The state of Hawaii’s Department of Health has added a trusted testing and travel partner page listing the ONLY partners travelers may use to obtain a COVID-19 test: https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/
- Beginning October 15, Maui County (Maui, Molokai, Lanai) and Kauai will allow inter-county travel. This includes travel between Kauai, Oahu, and Maui County. Travelers will need to follow similar procedures as the 72 hour pre-travel testing protocol (more information to follow). Hawaii County is still under the 14-day inter-county travel quarantine and not participating at this time. There is no inter-county quarantine in place for travelers to Oahu.
- Hawaii County will allow trans-pac travelers to arrive as part of the Safe Travels program on October 15, however out-of-state travelers who have chosen to participate in the state’s pre-test program will now be required to take a County administered COVID-19 test upon arrival to Hawaii Island. The tests will be administered at all three airports: Ellison Onizuka International Airport at Keahole,
Waimea-Kohala Airport, and Hilo International Airport. - Kauai and Maui Counties will be implementing a volunteer secondary test for trans-pac travelers upon arrival.
