Who Will Win Best Picture?

This Sunday will you be watching the Academy Awards? We are very excited as The Descendants has been nominated for five Academy Awards.

The Descendants was first featured during the Hawaii International Film Festival, it gained so many positive reviews, it became a feature film.

The Descendants have been nominated for the following awards:

• Best Picture (Jim Burke, Alexander Payne and Jim Taylor, Producers)
• Actor in a Leading Role (George Clooney), Directing (Alexander Payne)
• Adapted Screenplay (Screenplay by Alexander Payne and Nat Faxon & Jim Rash)
• Film Editing (Kevin Tent)

For film fanatics and movie buffs alike, Roberts Hawaii offers a movie tour on Kauai where visitors have a unique opportunity to experience the island through Hollywood’s eyes on an expert guided tour of Kauai’s famous movie locations. The fun-filled, 6-hour narrated tour is aboard an air-conditioned minibus that will stop at Kauai’s iconic movie locations while also viewing film clips of some of Hollywood’s most notable movies filmed on the island. A perfect spot has been chosen to go along with our movie theme. Lunch is included at the famous and rustic Tahiti Nui where The Descendants was filmed.

Some other location highlights include Coco Palms which was featured in Blue Hawaii, Fantasy Island, She Gods of Shark Reef, Dinocroc vs Supergator, and Pirates of The Caribbean. Entry to this location is exclusive to Roberts Hawaii customers.
